Peace be with you – John 2o:19-23

Jesus appears to the disciples on the first Easter evening. In this passage, we see that Jesus is the one who brings peace because he is the one who was wounded for our forgiveness. And because of the gospel, for those who believe in Jesus, there is a new mission in the world as we go into the world as his people, enabled by the Spirit to spread the good news of the gospel of forgiveness to the world.
