Over the last year and a half, I’ve picked up photography as a hobby. Thought it might be fun to occasionally share some photos on my site. These were taken this past Sunday evening in western Wisconsin. I had pulled off of the highway and started taking some rural routes. My plan was just to drive around for a few minutes, but it ended up being about an hour!
So here we go…
This is one of my favorite pictures from the shoot. I know it’s pretty simple. It’s been lightly edited. My favorite thing about the area was the topography of the land and how green everything was. The alternating shades of green gave this field a baseball diamond like quality that I really enjoyed.
This is another photo where I really enjoy the various shades of green. I feel like the different colors makes for an interesting composition, and I like how the farming equipment gives a reference point for the size of the hills. I honestly had no idea western Wisconsin was so hilly!
I like the various shades of black, white, and gray in this photo. Feel like it gives it a somewhat timeless quality.
